The Storyteller
Behind the Camera
I'm Eugene — a reportage photographer and filmmaker. That means I don't chase perfection. I chase truth.
My lens has followed prime ministers and poets, fashion icons and first-time lovers, CEOs and newborns. But I never set out to photograph people because of who they are. I photograph them because of what the moment means.
Some call it documentary style. Some call it storytelling. For me, it's simply about seeing.
How I Learned To See
The fusion of chaos and composition.
Before I ever stepped into a ballroom, a boardroom, or a basilica, I was learning the craft in two very different worlds:
As a PhotojournalistChasing stories that couldn't be posed — only witnessed.
As a Fashion PhotographerCapturing movement, composition, and energy under immense pressure.
Those early years gave me two things: The instinct to anticipate the moment before it happens, and the eye to find beauty in the chaos of real life.
That fusion — of truth and style, emotion and structure — is what I bring to every event I shoot.
